"VINCA ROSEA"
Technique: Mixed Media Installation
Tools: Hand wash felt(craft) 450 pieces, tracing paper (A2 size), glue gun, plywood, fishing rope & nylon thread, hand saw, ruler & pencil and scissors.
Challenges:
1. It is a individual project, tons of hand wash felt(craft), tracing paper and 1 pc of 9x5ft plywood; cutting and paste is a hand-work process.
2. Brainstorming and test error on material that can be used for 450 fake flowers of Vinca Rosea that need to be hang; display in three-dimensional (10ft).
Unique Brief/Solution:
1. Subject matter been given is, Medicinal Plants & Botany, Landscape & Architecture and Light Shadow.
2. "Vinca Rosea" is a medicinal plants that can give effective treatment against cancer and diabetes.
3. These installation art aim to inform the public through strong visuals and striking subject matter, and often invite viewers to reach their own conclusions through contemplation.
Goals: Successfully completed a final semester project of Bachelor of Media Arts at (Multimedia University ,Cyberjaya) of Faculty of Creative Multimedia on 2014 by having a exhibition with visitor and students of MMU to encouraged people to appreciate the nature and enjoyed the installation. Viewer can comments inside the space area.
